WP1: Case studies
The aim of "Towards Smart Ventilation" project is to determine a performance based method that approaches the design of a smart ventilation system as a whole, driven by optimization and assesses the performance of the system during its whole life-cycle, focusing on new and renovated midsized buildings with a design minimum airflow rate of more than 1000 m³/h such as apartment blocks, schools, small scale health care facilities (e.g.elderly care homes) and office buildings. To this end, case studies of residential and commercial mid-sized buildings are needed as a demonstration tool to conduct this research.
